August 31

 Today was all about GARLIC. Sorting. Cleaning. Aiming to finish up the job and clear out the garage to make room for winter wood. 

We had a whole roast chicken in the stock pot. It turned out pretty good. 

Then I used the bones to cook up stock through the night. Strained in the morning. 

Once that's done, I have some older meat from the freezer that I will put in the stockpot and cook up for a bonus treat from Moka's food. Meat definitely does not go to waste now that we have her.
