Hi Everyone,
I'm on Prince Edward Island today.
Yesterday we went to the Potato Museum. I learned that BC only contributes 2.9% of Canada's potatoes. PEI contributes 30%. I ate a loaded baked potato at the restaurant and got a recipe for potato fudge.
Today my mom took us to all the places that are associated with Anne of Green Gables. We're also listening to the story while we drive.
We went to a cemetery today and there were a few memorable names that stood out.
I really miss seeing my friends at school.
We're coming to PEI to eat the yummy potatoes (Keelan suggests!!).
ReplyDeleteChris, Liam D., and many others say, "Hi!"
We appreciated the Simpsons references...
The lemon tree is doing well. Mrs. Schiemann is taking pictures to share.
You've missed a lot of math :( How many degrees in a triangle?? Construct an angle with one side length 4 cm, another 5 cm, and 48 degrees between them... There, practice.
You're missed!
Enjoy the rest of your travels.
Sincerely,
The Class
P.S. Feel free to drop in on the last week if you're back!!
We really enjoyed the post, Patric! We like the Simpson's references. Anne of Greene Gables was very impactful for your teacher as a child. I remember being pretty shocked by some of the events in the story. Very powerful stuff...
ReplyDeleteYour class misses you a lot! Chris said Mrs. Schiemann has shared pictures of the lemon tree, and it's doing really well. Keelan said you've missed a lot of math which you're probably upset about. We're currently making angles, like, constructing one line 5 cm (one end is A, the other, B), a second line that's 4 cm (beginning at A), with an angle of 55 degrees between the two lines. Mark the other end of the 4 cm line as C. Draw a line from C to B to complete the triangle. :)
If you're back, please come visit us before school's end.
Enjoy the rest of your travels!
The Class
Sorry, thought the first didn't go through... Oh well, you got 2 (err, 3!) posts!
