Day 61: Pack it all

 Dear Gilles,

This is it! The last free-sleep night at mom's house.

We went for a bike ride in the valley - we were about 5km away from the house when Patric got a flat rear tire. So one of us walked his bike back to Mom's place. I was able to quickly get a tube from Canadian Tire and the boys changed the tire on their own.

Thank you for teaching him how to change a tube before we left on this trip.

The bikes are packed. The coolers are in the back seat. The gear is organized and we're on our way east tomorrow.

Aiming for Cornwall Ontario and a campground along the St.Lawrence River.

My future planned events are for Fundy National Park for the long weekend (I reserved because I didn't want to risk not having a place to lay down). Anne and Gilbert in Charlottetown on May 24 and catch the Ferry to Port aux Basques on June 3.

The rest of our time, I'll be figuring it out along the way. I hope. I'm hoping that travelling in the off-season of May/June will loosen the need for pre-booking sites and paying reservation fees on top of campground fees. We'll see how it plays out.
